45th Reunion of the Class of 1962
The 45th reunion of the class on September 21 and 22, 2007, in Davenport (of course).
Here are a few details.
Note: You may be able to see more of a picture on your screen by clicking the "Printable" button at the top-right of a page.
How to upload your own pictures to this site
- First, edit this page and add a new link to the list of links above. Copy the style of one of the other links. Start the line with exactly three spaces, then an asterisk, then another space, then two left brackets, then the link.
- If your pictures are available on some other web site, add a link like Dave Close's. After the two brackets, enter the URL of the other site. Then enter a right bracket, a left bracket, a caption for your link, and finally two right brackets.
- If your pictures are going to be on this site (they are very welcome here), add a link like Bud Beyer's. After the two brackets, enter a name for your new page which is a "wiki word". That is, it must start with a capital letter and have another capital letter in the middle somewhere. "PicsName", where Name is your own name, would work just great. Save this updated page.
- When the page is re-displayed, you'll see your new link. If your pictures are on some other web site, that's it, you're done.
- If your pictures are going to be on this site, your new page caption will be followed by a question mark. That means your new page doesn't yet exist.
- Click the question mark after your page caption. Your new page is now ready to be edited. Enter any descriptive text you like. Make the first line of the page start with three hyphens, three plus signs, a space, and whatever title you like. Save the page.
- When your new page is displayed, you should see several links at the bottom. Select the link called "Attach".
- Enter your local picture file name in the first box or "Browse" to select the file.
- Enter a description for the picture in the second box.
- VERY IMPORTANT: Check both of the option boxes, "create a link to this file" and "do not show in table".
- Click the Upload File button.
- Repeat the previous step as many times as you like. After each picture is uploaded, it will appear on the page directly below the descriptive caption you entered for it. Unfortunately, you can only upload one picture at a time.
- When you're finished, just move on to whatever else you want to do. There's nothing more involved here.
Note that you
can't really mess up this site. It's designed to let anyone edit each page and is very forgiving. All previous versions of a page are always saved so, if you make a mistake, we can just go back to the previous version. And you can always just edit the page again to correct anything you don't like in it. Try it!
